The minimum yield strength of the ASME SA36 HR Plates is 250MPa and the minimum tensile strength ranges between 400 and 550MPa. The material can undergo various heat treatments. The normalizing is done above 899 degrees Celsius. There are annealing, stress relieving, carburizing and hardening processes for the ASME SA36 Structural Low Carbon Plates at different temperature levels.
