The ASTM A36 Carbon Low Alloy Steel Plates are medium dense with 7.85grams per centimeter cube density. The material also has high tensile strength and yield strength. The minimum yield strength of the ASME SA36 HR Plates is 250MPa and the minimum tensile strength ranges between 400 and 550MPa. The material can undergo various heat treatments. The normalizing is done above 899 degrees Celsius. There are annealing, stress relieving, carburizing and hardening processes for the ASME SA36 Structural Low Carbon Plates at different temperature levels. After the heat treatments and the processes, the material gets the necessary properties specified for ASTM A36 MS Plates.
